When I listen to Verdi's Requiem, performed by the NBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Toscanini, I hear the passage of time and physical degradation. I have a similar listening experience with other records; five decades after the release of Ligeti's Requiem, the Bavarian Radio Choir sounds from the afterlife.

This is my backyard, where the sound of Requiem comes from: from cassette tapes generating noise, from crackling vinyl records devoid of dynamic details of composition played on budget audio equipment. On this album, I return to the times when, as a listener without deep listening skills, I was unaware of what to pay attention to when listening to music. At that time, the quality of the recording, the entire technical aspect, gave way to emotions, feelings and overall experience.

I hope you will have a similar experience as I had in the past.
